Let’s Meet Jen
Most of what we call understanding is really assumption.
Jen is a Toronto-based keynote speaker and photographer who helps people notice the stories they’ve inherited, question where they came from, and choose how they see and act from there. Her background as a photographer and educator shapes how she teaches it: every image is a decision, and so is every story.
Her own frame shifted eighteen days into motherhood, when her newborn was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition. Fear took the first picture. Instead of letting it define that chapter, she picked up her camera and chose what the story was about. That decision now shapes her work on the stage, in workshops, and in her forthcoming book, Through the Viewfinder.
Today Jen speaks to people navigating change, stepping into leadership, and learning to see past the stories they inherited so they can ask better questions, understand themselves and the people around them, and make choices that are truly theirs.
